Don't send me PMs. You made the accusation public, you keep it that way.

If people agree with you, I will not only publically apologize here, but I'll buy a billboard sign in your town stating such an apology.

It kills me that you have resorted to being like this toward me.
No, I will not start any poll or anything of the sort. You know fully well that admin would not allow it, anymore than they would allow anyone to post posts from another forum with the sole intent of proving someone wrong on something. If me sending them to you via pm won't good enough for you, then feel free to repost what I send to you and start whatever poll you want. Just be ready for it to be a huge waste of time because admin wouldn't allow it.

As for me being "this way" towards you, you need to know you have earned it, H.O. It takes a lot for me to turn away from someone the way I have you. Believe me when I tell you this, because it doesn't happen often. In fact, it's very rare. There are several people I have ignored for a few days, but never has my heart turned away from a poster like mine has towards you.

I've watched you debate and debate and debate with people over the smallest little points, and you absolutely refuse to admit you're ever wrong, even when it's obvious that you are. The Christmas debate, and the conversation it led to with you about oneness was the stick that broke the camel's back for me. Even after others clearly pointed out that, from a grammatical standpoint, you were separating Jesus and God (regardless of your intent), you still refused to admit your error. You went around and around the mulberry bush with them, one poster in particular.

Frankly, I am not interested in being friends with people who claim Oneness, deny it in the way they say things, and then refuse to see how they are in error. Jesus is God and God is Jesus, period. Everything we say, write, and post concerning God should support Oneness, and we should be willing to listen when other Oneness people point out that our arguments go against Oneness, regardless of our intentions, and regardless of it being because of the grammar we use. It's non-negotiable for me, and if feeling this way costs me every supposed friend I have then so be it. Some things are worth losing friends over.

My apologies to admin and everyone who has had to put up with tonight's events. I certainly did not start out thinking this would be the night H.O. and I finally "had it out", but this has been brewing for several months. I should have just ignored the comment she made about this doctrine only being taught in "white churches." My choosing not to ignore her has opened up a can of worms, and I truly do apologize to AFF for my letting this happen.

Rico, you are wrong. Period. I never made any such statement and for you to insist that I did in making you a liar everytime you say it.

If I remember the convo you are speaking of, it was you claiming that God died. When I said that my God didn't die but Jesus did, you said that I was denying that Jesus was God when I said no such thing.

Funny how you weren't all that involved in the convo, but the poster you reference me going round and round with was civil to me then and is civil to me now, even though he perhaps thinks the same thing about my belief as you do.

Too bad you can't be friends with people who don't believe as you do. You are truly missing out on a lot.

And you still haven't proven that the 'laying on of hair' or 'magic hair' doctrine is being promoted in anything other than white churches!

Surely I am not!

However, an emotional response is not an immediate rubberstamp that God is in something. That is a problem that I have observed, and thus I was addressing it.

No where is it mentioned that the Disciples marveled and scoffed at her using her hair to wash His feet.

The beauty of the story, and the subject of this story is her sacrifice and use of expensive ointment to wash Jesus' feet. THAT, not hair, was what the Disciples were marveling and upset about.

Did it occur to anyone that she had long hair before she met Jesus . . . when she was playing tricks for cash money for the fellas around the block? It's not like she got Jesus and suddenly grew long, beautiful hair.

It's sad when the real story is missed because of this instinct to try and prove that long hair is what matters.
Good post.
