Yes, the killing in the various Islamic sects is sad, it's tragic really. But the simple fact is this, one can claim that Islam isn't this or Islam isn't that, yet the reality is what is seen over and over, day after day, week after week, year after year.....religious violence within the various Islamic religious sects. The fact is there are sects within Islam. The fact is they kill each other. The fact is they are in opposition to each other. This is reality.

The fact is, Islam is the most violent religion on the face of the earth today, tragic as that is. And the fact is that muslims, such as post on this site, aren't honest enough to simply tell the truth about what is going on in the Islamic religion of today.

Your arguments that Islam is the cause or that "God" is the beneficiary in some way of this violence. You have yet to demonstrate a pure "religious" motive and I have posted many secular summaries and much study directly stating that it is not.

There is violence in Muslim countries with resources that nations outside those countries benefit from at the expense of those who live there. Oil and gas in Afghanistan or Iraq or Iran or uranium mines in Mali or oil in Nigeria or land in Palestine and this list goes on and on. This violence is not "religious" and the beneficiary of this violence is not "God" but local people.

When you demonstrate "religious" motivation or "religious" benefit you are warrented an answer. Otherwise your yapping has become random noise.

What two religions? I'm speaking of the one violent religion, Islam, which is today the most violent religion on the face of the earth. I'm speaking of the one violent religion, Islam, which has frequent sectarian violence, usually among the sunni and shia sects of the religion. Sunnis are killing shias. Shias are killing sunnis. Those killings between the two religious sects within Islam occur relatively frequently throughout the year, year after year, time after time.

You're not honest enough to face the frequent violence within Islam itself. You're typical for a dishonest muslim in that behavior.

IF your opinion diverges from factual, objective information it appears that I do not own the honesty problem at all.

Numbers 22:28 says: And the Lord opened the mouth of the ass. It appears that this thread in your case may be reflective of a similar miracle.

According to this, there was relative peace between Islam and the West since AT LEAST 969 AD.

Are you sure about that? I am sure the Kosovars, Serbs, and Romanians would disagree about that...

On a side note, the modern manifestation of 'Islamic extremism' seems to have been fomented by Western intelligence agencies ranging from the Soviet Union to Britain and the US for 'other purposes'... TE Lawrence comes to mind...

We were discussing Sunni/Shia conflict.

But you make a point: Where since the Middle Ages has Islam or an Islamic country "invaded" the West again and how many Islamic countries in the meantime have been invaded BY the West say in the last 200 years or so?

I am not sure that you meant to reference the systematic slaughter of Muslims in Bosnia in the above? you probably want to sweep that away.
