We bought him a used X-Box system that has all the controllers, carrying bag, and a bunch of fancy stuff that one of his friends is selling. It's really nice, and I'm glad I didn't have to buy a new one.

As if you didnt have enough to do already huh? LOL

We spent all day getting ready for our trip this evening.. then we drove to Ok. to get tags for our car and take care of some other business... we are spending tomorrow with my best friend Tam and her family and getting car tags and then tomorrow night plan on being in church with PhilJones and then heading home early Sun morning.. No kids........ so we are having a wonderful weekend and a much needed one....

This morning I went to go to the grocery store and my car doors were frozen shut...had to use my brother's van. Came back and made bacon, sausage, scrambed eggs w/cheese, toast, coffee, and orange juice in frosted glasses...

Later I went to the Bible bookstore and picked up something, went to the Post Office, stopped again at the grocery store, and now I'm resting.

One of my nephews gave me a great CD recorded by a group from his church, Page 5...it is very good!!

Rarely do I listen to an album where I like every song, but I like every cut here...Tyrone Page and Vicki Leinenger singing Going Up Yonder is especially wonderful, with Jeff Watson on the organ...love it!!

The boys are asleep, I have just fried 1/2 lb. of sausage patties and one lb. of bacon...when they wake up I'll fix French Toast with Log Cabin syrup, coffee, and orange juice in frosted glasses.

Tomorrow is my mom's 77th birthday, and as I have to work and the out of town family will be leaving early in the a.m., we are doing the b'day thing tonight.

So, after the kitchen is cleaned from breakfast, I'm going to pick up the cake and then prepare the food for tonight.

Whew!!
