if you admit that it is about where your heart is, but then condemn doctrines, even though Catholics are people, there is obviously a disconnect there, which becomes revealed imo when i tell you that you are lost, Esaias, and will perish unless you come to know Christ. What is your honest response to this?

My response is to agree, I am lost unless I come to know Christ. And I thank God for his mercy in saving me by the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ! I have come to know him, and I continue to know him more and more.

Jesus condemned doctrines, the prophets condemned doctrines, the apostles condemned doctrines. They all condemned false doctrines. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil, and every false way.

I didn't like hearing how I was a sinner in need of Christ, but thank God somebody told me, otherwise I would have died in my sins.
