Sorry friend, Tampa was divisive history. Anyone involved in Tampa and voting yes on Res 4 or 6 or whatever, was voting yes for division. The TV ad resolusion was the most divisive thing every shoved down the throats of UPCI brethren. Now that they have been kicked to the curb, they are coming together in Tulsa... Tulsa is a summit of unification. Look at the names of people involved in the logistics of this meeting. Very reputable, hightly esteemed and accomplished men of God!

NO ONE was kicked to the curb at Tampa. Some really good men of God seem to feel that they need to move on in another direction, but they were not kicked the curb. They can stay but not take part in the TV advertising or they can move on but ultimately it is their personal choice.

Your post brings to my a Dylan song...
I can hear the turning of the key
I've been deceived by the clown inside of me.
I thought that he was righteous but he's vain
Oh, something's a-telling me I wear the ball and chain.
Study it and learn.

BobDylan, long time no see.
I don't agree. First it wasn't "shoved down" anyone's throat. There was a vote just like the vote in 1977 that put the ban on TV ministry and advertising into place. If this vote was everything you say, then 1977 was exactly the same; just as divisive and pretty much, just as close of a vote.
I think you're being unneccessarily harsh with the "shoved down their throats" comment. But it is good to "see" you again.

Being a minister, do you have to get a personal invitation or can you just show up?

Just show up. And take pics and video. If questioned or harassed in any way, tell them that it's for an Internet broadcast and will never be shown on television. Then they may even help you carry your equipment into the hall.
