Which makes me wonder, why would God give a Preacher a conviction against beards? If he does?

Yes. I hate mere traditions of men being taught as doctrines. Can't that be said of anyone who loves biblical truth?

Ah, but there are many, perhaps even more, in which it isn't.

Here you go once again. NEWSFLASH!!! Hello McFly! If YOU are in a religion, any religion you are legalistic. Why because all religions have rules.

There is a difference between traditions of man being taught as doctrines (legalism)... and true biblical commandments that truly relate to the New Covenant (Bible).

So while you are sitting cross legged on the floor naked in cornflakes smoking a bong in your Bible studies. If you claim Christianity you would therefore have some rules in order to hold the claim. In your wanting to be so Biblical, you really aren't.

Can you point out where I am not "biblical"?

Who said God DEMANDS that we are clean shaven? I have seen Leviticus 19:27 quoted quite a bit in these threads. Looks like it was going the other way around. Which would make that the beard advocaters look as God agrees with them?

Under the New Covenant it is immaterial. Only a buffoon would lose focus on the cross to criticize a person's beard.

Show where anyone said or posted that God demands you be clean shaven?

So, you agree that it doesn't matter one iota?

Whats wrong IMO is making laws against something that in itself is not wrong and because one in a hundred might get prideful about it, THEN applying THAT persons problem to the majority who DONT have the problem.

I know quite a few men who are rather prideful about their pickup trucks. Why don't these organizations establish a no pickup truck standard? lol
Idiots. lol

In certain contexts, it makes sense to reference Leviticus 19:27. You see, when a Pastor tells me that it is a "sin" to have a beard... I can look back at that verse and know instantly that the man is putting a lie in the mouth of God. Because if beards were sin, God would never have commanded that the Israelites not trim them.

Your question on why the Lord would ask someone to shave is a micro perspective. Why Jesus tries our hearts on any matter is a macro perspective? The answer is the process of Sanctification. The Lord will try our hearts in the process of sanctification. For obedience, trust, faith or our Love for him. In prayer the Lord ask me to take off a St Christopher necklace that I wore in memory of my Father. I obeyed, and my walk was blessed. But I don’t tell people to take off their St. Christopher necklaces to go to heaven. The leading of the Holy Ghost takes us through sanctification and only he knows what we need. Jesus has his own standards and they are what I strive to obey. Hope this helps.
1 Thessalonians 4: 4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour.

Sorry, but you learned your jargon from Social Media, which is where your lexicon of religious terms come from. Legalism is religion, all religions.

What? Sweet love of God, Hoss, if you don't know my position which has been posted in multiple BEARD threads. Then you are smoking and eating too much MM and CBD gummy bears. It kills your memory, that is why we call it DOPE.

But, you posted scripture on beards, and then brought up how the cutting off a beard was an indication of dishonor. If that is the case "Biblically" then why would God ever convict someone to shave off that which is considered holy to Him? Cutting it off would be dishonorable? Correct?
