Of course you don't. I doubt you believe they had any role in the division plaguing this country.

I can see clearly where they have, but like with the Obama Administration, I don't think it was their intent.
Of course you believe the GOP has caused division. To you, the GOP is comprised of a bunch of evil and racist old white guys.

Each side has played a role. But inherently, it's obama and the Democrats, who (based on party principles) have a platform built on division.

And I know you're blind as Stevie Wonder to this, but the Dems are built on division. Everything is in its own class. Class warfare. Racial animosity. Gender strife.

The Dems own it. Not the GOP.

I agree, except I may not support him even if he is the nominee. His is really getting into the weeds with his lying about Ted Cruz. Calling him worse than Hillary is ridiculous. Especially when he's given Hillary $100,000.

So when I criticized Ben Carson for setting up the stupid hypothetical situation of a Muslim running for President and how that he could not support a Muslim running for President-- you didn't see that as the GOP being divisive, creating an unnecessary "us" vs "them" scenario?

JD - he was asked a question and answered it, if I remember correctly.

If the GOP adopted a platform like that, or the majority of leaders believed as Carson did, then you'd have a point.

They don't.

The majority of Dem leaders, including obama, have - as a party - been divisive and continually pit races against each other, pit classes and sexes and ages and now sexual preferences against each other.

Prove it.

Provide proof.

Provide examples.

You might be right-- but look at the avalanche of "us" vs. "them" that befell this country in the weeks following that clear example of fruitless divisiveness.

Class warfare - pitting poor against the rich.

If you claim it isn't real and you need proof you're being very dishonest. One only needs to hear obama speak or especially go back to the 2012 campaign. Good grief, JD, don't tell me you've never heard "fair share" mentioned by your dear leader. It was his 2012 campaign theme and has continued to be even today.

"For years, Democrats have used an economic inequality argument to attract voters to their cause and pit certain groups of Americans against others. But they go beyond just making intellectual policy points. It's a call to arms in a class war they are trying to incite for their own political gain."

The enemy? It's the wealthy and successful. "Millionaires and billionaires," as President Obama likes to call them. According to Democrats, you're not making it because Wall Street tycoons and greedy CEOs are holding you back.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton claims it in her 2016 campaign announcement video: "The deck is still stacked in favor of those at the top," she says. Warren says it on the stump: "The system is rigged." Sanders heralds it on his website: "The reality is that for the past 40 years, Wall Street and the billionaire class has rigged the rules to redistribute wealth and income to the wealthiest and most powerful people of this country."

https://www.bostonglobe.com/opinion/...DKJ/story.html

"what people really want is fairness. They want people paying their..fair share of taxes." "All I'm saying is that those who have done well, including me, should pay their..fair share in taxes.".."Do we want to keep giving tax breaks to the wealthiest Americans like me, or Warren Buffett, or Bill Gates - people who don't need them and never asked for them? Or do we want to keep investing in things that will grow our economy and keep us secure? Because we can't afford to do both."..
--obamalamadingdong

The rich are not paying their fair share in any nation that is facing the kind of employment issues (that the United States is), whether it's individual, corporate, whatever the taxation forms are."..
--HRC

Soros' website...

And you claim this isn't happening!

https://youtu.be/9tuztHPq95o

At 1:53 or so obama says it again...." Wealthiest Americans not paying their fair share..... "

Blatant and clear class warfare.

Against Trump

by The Editors

January 21, 2016 10:00 PM Donald Trump leads the polls nationally and in most states in the race for the Republican presidential nomination. There are understandable reasons for his eminence, and he has shown impressive gut-level skill as a campaigner. But he is not deserving of conservative support in the caucuses and primaries. Trump is a philosophically unmoored political opportunist who would trash the broad conservative ideological consensus within the GOP in favor of a free-floating populism with strong-man overtones.
