Haha...I thought the only sin was to NOT shave. Well, now it seems like shaving is a SIN...lol
Honestly, some issues that we discuss are just plain dumb...lol
who cares if you shave or not shave? does anyone else not see how silly these things are?

Changing subjects. Lose one point flee to another. I got you boxed in and I am not moving. For you to be consistent you must stop trimming your beard. We will see if your wife likes that?

Do women preachers teach that men should shave or not shave?
(At least, the answer to this question will help the single guys know what the ladies like...lol)
Don't mean to sound carnal, but honestly, people preaching about men having to shave or not to shave is too funny to me. Never heard about it until AFF
Of all the doctrines in the bible, shaving? really?
Just imagine:
From Heb 6
1. foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
2. doctrine of baptisms
3. laying on of hands
4. resurrection of the dead
5. eternal judgment
***6. Next topic: Shaving***
like seriously?

Of all the teachings of the bible, so much talk about clothing, standards and appearance is what amazes me. Some folks on this forum spend more time talking about clothing than the cross and Jesus -- the two things Paul said he stressed more than anything.
What are we coming to? We bring up the cross in the deeper waters section and hardly anyone writes a note.

I have no clue what women preachers preach, but I really like a short beard, one that looks like its just growing out look.
What I think should be preached against is hair growing out of your ears or nose, or really long bushy evil looking eyebrows.
When my husband goes to his barber, she cuts his beard nice and close and fixes his eyebrows and stuff.

So what happens when the UPCI changes a long held position that men have affirmed, with signatures, that they believe for decades?
Do these ministers simply change their beliefs to reflect the orgs new position?
If so, that's very troublesome because it means they are forming their doctrines through the consensus of their brethren instead of following the Spirit and studying the Word.

Amen sista !!!! I remember growing up seeing the elders in church with enough hair coming out of their nose and ears they could fashion a tupe for thier heads. I always told myself, NOWAY, NEVER. My wife lets me know at the slightest sign of a hair folicule coming from anywhere but the top of my head.
