At first, I was a little excited about Trump's run-- but he decided to appeal to the "baser sorts" of our ilk.
I hope he picks Palin as his running mate and they destroy themselves politically speaking in their lunacy.
I don't have access to my original birth certificate. If the state of Maryland does not have it somewhere it is lost forever. The same thing with my original social security card and my original driver's license.
I have had to order a birth certificate on at least three different occasions.
The certificate I have received from the State of Maryland has always been sufficient for passports and other official purposes.
If I was President Obama, I'd never give in to the "birthers", if for no other reason than to stand strong for the next guy's character that people attempt to assasinate.

So, Jermyn did he say he wasn't a serious contender? Or is that just you talking?
At first, I was a little excited about Trump's run-- but he decided to appeal to the "baser sorts" of our ilk.
What's that? "Baser sorts!" I'll have to look that one up.
I hope he picks Palin as his running mate and they destroy themselves politically speaking in their lunacy.
Their lunacy? So you're smarter than the two of them? Can you match Trump's bank account? Have you held offices like Palin? You really shouldn't try to tear down others, just to be tearing them down, who have been more successful than you.
I don't have access to my original birth certificate. If the state of Maryland does not have it somewhere it is lost forever. The same thing with my original social security card and my original driver's license.
It seems like you don't keep up with your stuff very well. I think I would quit criticizing others when you can't even take care of your own business. Your original driver's license? I think you get a new one every time the old one expires.
I have had to order a birth certificate on at least three different occasions.
Jerymn? This is not good. Why would you find fault with someone else, even to the point of calling them lunatics, when you admit you can't take care of your own stuff!
The certificate I have received from the State of Maryland has always been sufficient for passports and other official purposes.
Do you know where your passport is?

You are really, down deep, an Obama lover aren't you? Obama holds on to his birth certificate to protect the next guy's character? Come on JD, you can do better than that!
Don't mean to be mean JD but your remarks about the republicans sure don't care much weigh. Why don't you quit worrying about politics and put more time into taking care of yourself.

Re: Donald Trump Calls for Obama Birth Certificate
Of course JD doesnt have an answer for why Obama has a ss card from Conn.having never lived there or worked there. He is an illegal alien with phony papers, which would explain his lack of support on enforcing that issue.Admit it JD he is a fraud.

Hey Been Thinkin!
So, Jermyn did he say he wasn't a serious contender? Or is that just you talking?
I have declared Trump to not be a serious contender for Presidency, based on the recent "chatter" concerning his potential run for the office.
What's that? "Baser sorts!" I'll have to look that one up.
It's a Bible reference. Start there.
Their lunacy? So you're smarter than the two of them? Can you match Trump's bank account?
Just because one is rich doesn't mean they are smart. Mr. Trump can be described as DETERMINED, given the set backs and bankruptcies he has been through.
His appeal to the birthers is not an appeal to the thinkers within the Republican Party, despite the moniker you post under.
Have you held offices like Palin? You really shouldn't try to tear down others, just to be tearing them down, who have been more successful than you.
Success is a journey not a destination. Palin and I have never competed on the same level for anything. Not only that, but Palin tears down Palin. My assessment of her is based on her own self-destruction which we as a country have witnessed over the last three years.
It seems like you don't keep up with your stuff very well.
You have no clue what you're talking about-- if you did, you wouldn't speak like this.
I think I would quit criticizing others when you can't even take care of your own business.
Really dude?
Your original driver's license? I think you get a new one every time the old one expires.
I mentioned this for affect-- but thank you for the reminder.
Jerymn? This is not good. Why would you find fault with someone else, even to the point of calling them lunatics, when you admit you can't take care of your own stuff!
You don't know what you are talking about. There have been multiple jobs that I have applied for that (along with with verification of my clearance) have required "original or certified copies" of my birth certificate.
Do you know where your passport is?
Yes I do.
You are really, down deep, an Obama lover aren't you?
Are you an Obama hater? I have clearly stated that he did not and does not have my vote. Forgive me if I see the senseless attacks on the President as senseless.
Don't mean to be mean JD but your remarks about the republicans sure don't care much weigh.
Well AFF is not exactly the Wall Street Journal or the Washington Times. The point is to discuss. Feel free to interact or not interact with this guy.

Thanks JD. I had missed that one. Acts 17:5.

You're welcome!
You don't know what you are talking about. There have been multiple jobs that I have applied for that (along with with verification of my clearance) have required "original or certified copies" of my birth certificate.
And they kept the "original" or "certified copies"? First time I ever heard of someone keeping your birth certificate.
You are really, down deep, an Obama lover aren't you?

Nope! Do not hate Obama, nor anyone else. Just can't stand his politics, which are about to put our nation over the cliff. (And that's not just me talking, there are many who are far wiser and more knowledgeable than I who say the same thing.) Why should he be given any slack when he goes on head long in destroying America. If he was a leader then his party, (the democrats), would have put together a budget last year when they were in total control, and we wouldn't be going through what we are going through right now.
Hope you have a good day! Best wishes to you!

Lack of keeping your papers in order has nothing whatsover to do with Obama. Nothing.
I trust Obama in that If I was in his shoes with shaddy records, bad news , forgeries or what ever his problem is, I would also spend 2 million to hide the papers if they are as bad as it looks.
If I had 100,000 dollars in cocaine in my house and the cops at the door and a dead body, I would consider burning it down if I had no insurance.

There are agnecies that keep ALL SOURCE DOCUMENTATION when you apply for employment with them.
It's generally accepted that if you are a natural-born citizen, there is a record of it somewhere.
The State's certification of a citizen's natural birth is accepted-- whether the source document is the original printed copy (extremely rare for many folks) or the certified copy printed from records converted to microfiche and/or pdf.

Re: Donald Trump Calls for Obama Birth Certificate
JD,
People who call for a birth certificate are derided as less intelligent or personally attacking BO, which really obfuscates the real issue. IF Barak Obama was not born on American soil, his becoming a US Senator and President will be one of the biggest scams in all of history!
Arnold S. cannot run for president because he was born in Austria. Why should BO given a pass if he cannot prove his origin of birth? One week after he was born his grandparents ran an article in the Honolulu paper announcing his birth. That is all they have to go on. It is possible that they wanted to make sure BO had US citizenship so they placed that ad in the paper. BOs Kenyan grandmother is on record saying she was present at his birth and that it was in Kenya.
It is becoming more and more of a legitimate issue with me the more I see and hear.
The Dems tried to delegitimize W back in 2004 for allegations he was AWOL when he served in the Air National Guard. On the basis of phony documents the Mainstream Media went on air to expose this "cover up". There seems to be more evidence that something isn't legit about this birth certificate issue yet all the media elites and Democrats scoff at intelligent people asking legitimate questions.
How is it that ALL of us have to prove our origin of birth frequently but we just have to accept someone's word that his birth in Hawaii is true? There isn't a hospital in Hawaii that has any record that BO was born there. You could go to your town of birth, the hospital where you were born and you would find official documentation of your birth. Nothing like that can be found for BO.
And the hypocrisy to talk about the self destruction of Sarah Palin! How has she self destructed? She's a conservative woman? She has a nasal northern accent? She is folksy and down to earth and doesn't carry Ivy League credentials? Any basis for disqualifying SP for legitimacy PALES in comparison to BO. I'm still amazed he won the nomination let alone the election.
I believe BOs presidency came into being as a result of several things. #1: He got lucky. The economy fell apart in late September of '08, 6 weeks before the election. Before that he was behind in the polls from the GOP convention forward. #2: McCain was not an aggressive candidate. Had he raised even half the issues that BOs past should've raised, many voters would have thought twice about voting for BO. McCain played nice in a bloodsport. The Dems have never showed such restraint when glaring weaknesses are exposed. #3: The complicity of the MS Media. They attack a guy like W with phony docs without vetting them properly. But real, legitimate issues concerning BO, Clinton, et al get passed over. Nobody in the media elite is willing to go after a Democrat who raises legitimate questions. They just get all enamored and tingly inside.
So in the end, if Trump runs, and I believe he will (he's running 2nd to Romney right now in polls), this birth certificate issue will continue to be raised until proof positive is procured.
I listened to Trump on Morning Joe this morning. The fill-in host, Willy, Ed Rendall, Donnie Deutsch and Pat Buchanan all were making light of the issue but when pressed Trump kept coming back with questions and statements that these guys couldn't refute. Its obvious as Trump keeps the issue at the forefront the more momentum this issue is gaining and the East Coast media elites are perplexed at how to respond and make it go away.
I thought it was a non-issue, a losing one. The more I listen to Trump's questions and watch people like Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar and Bill Maher squirm and get angry, the more I am thinking there must ne something to this.

Deacon, you should have your own political blog, radio show...you have a way with words!
I could've highlighted many parts of our post. However I chose the last part because my husband, who is a pro-life democrat who has to swallow hard to vote republican and never, ever speaks to these kind of issues; said to me the other night, "wonder why Obama doesn't just show his birth certificate and if he can't show it, he should be out of office"! I liked to have fainted!
IF my husband is wondering about this, well then....that got me to thinking and doing some research and I'm coming to the same conclusions...hmmmm, just exactly why can't this thing be produced????
And why did McCain have to produce his BC? Seems I remember the media making a fuss about him being born in Panama, yet the very idea that Obama would have to stoop so low as to have to actually produce a BC makes the liberal elite and media laugh (and squirm at the same time).

Re: Donald Trump Calls for Obama Birth Certificate
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com...ok-into-obama/
That's according to Trump himself, who, in an interview with NBC, warned his investigators just might uncover "one of the greatest cons in the history of politics and beyond."
"I have people that have been studying it and they cannot believe what they're finding," Trump said an interview that aired Thursday Morning.
Asked if he has assigned people specifically to search in Hawaii, Trump said, "Absolutely."
Chickens will come home to roost for Obama.
