Oh good grief! Now I'm getting headache! And you know what that means?!!!
Didn't mean to go all Timmy on you..... lol (Although I think it is a legitimate question....)
And I have posted this before but I need to find the link where I displayed the study material from our old (and very short lived pastor, after walking out on him -not because he died) who taught a world of "no's" as far as marital sex goes.

Yes, you were doing a Tim-may! LOL!
Seriously, I don't see how being coquettish is "role playing".
I think I posted about a church, not UPC, that had a married couples meeting and displayed various "lingerie" articles that were not allowed in the bedroom. That's pushing the "No" factor, in my opinion.
I agree with Bratti when she said, "Best to cover it from a biblical, principled point of view, and leave the specifics to the couple."
What about those who have to think about something else in order to, mmmmmmmm, last longer? Aka, baseball?
Of course the way my Brewers are playing (either great or HORRID), if I think about them, it just makes me want to roll over and start whimpering. The moment is gone!
If a couple wishes to turn off all lights, use blind folds, or restrain one another that's different than inflicting pain. It's just weird to me. That's all I'm saying.
Right, I get that. But I'm asking you what the reason is that you draw that line. You're completely missing my question, or choosing not to respond to it. If it's the latter, I apologize for pressing for an answer.
Why is sensory deprivation not weird, but inflicting pain is weird?

God did it for us. Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we're in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ. ~Romans 3:24 from The Message
