Don't know if that has anything to do with UPC culture, but we certainly like to come up with our own theme songs...
...I've been washed in His blood sanctified by His Spirit, I believe in Holiness and I suggest you do the same. I've been set free at a Pentecostal altar on my knees, pardon me if I'm not ashamed to be a One God Apostolic, tongue talking, holy roller, born again, heaven bound...

We had a song leader at one time who had us sing "Oh I Want to See Him" every single service - Sunday AM & PM, Wednesday Bible Study and Friday Youth Service - for over a year!

If I ever hear that song again, it'll be too soon. Ok, I take that back. Now that 20+ years have passed, I could hear it again. And every time I do hear it, I immediately think of my friend, Bro T.

Oh I know huh! But when we look back... we sometimes wonder why we liked it to begin with (not necessarily meaning song in question just a lot of em!)
