Re: UPC pastor's wife refuses to wear hair up anym
The Pentecostal ladies I know do NOT look like these ladies even the hair.
Most ofour ladies have been seen and known in our communities foe years they are not going to be confused with the polygamists.

Seriously you say in one post you have no problem with people who do it for the fact they love their long hair... but I guess you have no respect at all left for those who do have some standards.. just because you have none and it left you with a sour note does not mean that everyone who holds a standard believes they have this stupid uncut hair angel... they just have convictions and some yes are in total bondage and believe they will not go to heaven otherwise but not all are like this... so please get over the broadbrushing and can we have the semi sensible CC1 back
I guess in the words of what some said to me a while back I can say now.. I have seen some very out of character posts from you today and I am saddened and shocked

The official Web Site of the UPCI promotes the hair prayer doctrine.

some of the up styles don't necessarily look like th ones the mormons are wearing either. you have to consider that too, but when they wear it like the frontier covered wagon days..... I have to admit it kinda does lol

I am a conservative lady and I was bothered when I saw the magazines in the checkout lanes of stores. I am not bothered by what I live or the way I dress... but I do not want to be associated with them...
... I don't do the "bun" thing with my hair. Sometimes it's straight, sometimes I have lots of curls. Either way, my hair is always fixed up but never in the bun or whatever.
As for the way I dress, I don't think I dress plain. I have never been a fan of pentecostals having to look drab and dreary. I love vibrant colors and I wear them, unlike some of those polypeople who don't believe in women being flashy or anything like that.
No, I am not trying to "fit in" to the world. I just don't think that just because you are pentecostal, you have to look like the "old world" women of yesteryear. jmo

No wonder people think we are crazy. There is a lot of stigma that comes with being Pentecostal.
