Have you ever noticed how men will insult each other if they are good friends.

If a woman wears a new outfit to a meeting her friends will all come up and tell her how wonderful she looks etc.

If a guy shows up in a new suit his friends will comment on how many yard sales he must have hit over the weekend and ask didn't they have anything in your size.

Genuine affection may be expressed as, "Is that your face or did you block a punt?"

Gives a whole new view of "Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you!"

Hey, watch it...I was a first chair, deep low toned violist

NOT VIOLINIST, violist
I can also pluck a mandolin once in a while, no estrogen here, Danielle

I knew of you were a fellow saxophonist from the Talent thread.

I'm sitting here as Danah is practicing her clarinet .... I'm helping her w/ her embouchure.
I'm sure you'll be happy to know that Carp was a brilliant saxophone player.

I didn't have a choice in my marriage - my husband was the leader and there was no question in my mind that he was. We discussed things together, but his say was final and most usually we always agreed with whatever the end decision was. I never tried to overrule him and never dreamed to go against him.

I wasn't trying to place blame, nor do I feel every women is controlling. I think it is a mindset that women are raised with that needs to be changed. And leaving the raising of the children to the women breeds this mindset into the children. Which can be why the men are so willing to give the lead to women.

I believe that women have been raised this way and it is a mindset that needs to be stopped that has been spread through feminism. In Bible college I was taught how to manipulate my future husband into doing what he wanted me to do. How to make him think it was what he wanted when it was really what I wanted. I was actually taught this in class. I was raised in a church where women dominated. I didn't know this at the time, but looking back it is obvious. I remember waking up one day and realizing I was very controlling. That was very humbling and hard to take. Thankfully I have been liberated and am now free and so is my husband.
