Can you explain to me how picture #1 is "prideful?"

There are Apostolic churches that believe THIS way. No curlers, etc...straight hair.
I sure wish you all could get it together, and decide just what IS wrong and what IS right...as for ME- I'm gonna continue to let the Holy Ghost lead and guide me. Its less confusing.

"I" don't think it is (even if it may be -who can know a persons heart), but I DO see many similar to the above look down at women with much simpler hair styles simply because they wear a necklace or earrings, or what have you. It is a response to another poster saying that such things should be preached against because they are a source of pride.

Most women I know (myself included) that keep their hair long and uncut, can style their

Therein lies the key- UNCUT. I never had scissors in my hair until I was OLD, and my daughter either. BUT, because our hair didn't grow LONG- we were constantly accused of being rebellious and sinful. What a crock.
Yet another reason I'm searching for 'truth'- WITHOUT the aid of some man. The Holy Ghost is my guide. and the answers don't keep changing just because the circumstances do. Something else I find quite amusing in the organized church of today. It's sin until the Pastor's kids want'a go there, or wear it, or watch it...*sigh*
(hope this post isn't TOO menopausal, Cindy)
