It is not a RUMOR. He gave his blessing to it when the pastors who would make up the Southern California District met with HANEY and HIM at a meeting in San Bernadino. Both gave their blessing to the formation of the new district. No rumor...fact.

You have a question as to if he did???? They had to obtain his blessing before they proceeded.

His words were something to the effect of....as DS, he would hate to not have these men as part of the fellowship in which he has the honor of leading. However, he saw the necessity and the logic behind the formation and said it was time for it to happen. He told the men that they had his blessing in their endeavor.
