It's no wonder the org isn't growing. I highly doubt God is going to put His favor on a group that is so rife with hypocrisy.

And let's not forget "worldly entertainment" could include most of what's offered in Branson..........

That name should never be mentioned here. "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named" did extraordinarily evil things in the past. Long before there was even a "World Wide Web" and everyone used Usenet and News servers, this guy already had a Usenet FAQ dedicated just to his antics.
If you want a good reason to question the Oneness of God, forget the "Trinnie" stuff. Just look at this guy. I keep asking myself, "How could I possibly hold opinions that are even remotely similar to such a mess? Doctrine that might even possibly be lumped together with this guy?"

Started reading this long thread and found all the bantering about facial hair quite amusing. I haven’t made it all the way through yet so please forgive me if it’s already been covered but…. According to the 16th-century poet Christopher Smart, "The shaving of the chin was an invention of the people of Sodom to make men look like women". Now, I don’t know how much truth is in Christopher’s statement, but when you hear preachers say “we save’m and shave’m” maybe they ought to think about the condition of the effeminate mentioned in 1 Cor 6:9. Just saying.
