As always, Sister, thank you for your honest commentary.

That's exactly what it was, Amos. I do have a certain spot in my heart for you, as always.

And, I appreciate and respect you as well, Amos.
Even though we've had our share of discussions, I still hold you in the highest regard. You are a man of integrity and conviction, and I appreciate your wisdom and opinion.

That's because 43% of all statistics are made up on the spot and the remaining 56% are well outside the margin of error. hehehe

don't see much wisdom in saying your Pastor says "don't do it" but you do it anyway and let it roll off your back like a duck. It's more like STUBBORN. I'm sorry, but these comments get high-fived way too easy. If you are going to do things your way, then find a church that will do it your way.

Okay I'm skipping over a few posts, this thread is adding up pages fast, but MarthaOlivia didn't say it was the pastor telling her "don't do it," but other people in the church. Too many times people on the pews try to be pastor when they should leave things to the pastor and take care of their own problems. Also I don't expect the pastor to do everything my way. I can still worship God and let him have his opinions and I have mine.

Re: Changing Denominations
Okay, I've got ADD and I can't bring myself to read the entire thread. Rhoni, do you still believe in Oneness and the Acts 2:38 experience?

It doesn't matter. She's a Christian and a seeker.

I can answer that for you.
The answer is yes.
And she's a three-stepper to boot.
:-)
But I also agree, we shouldn't be so caught up in "labels"

Re: Changing Denominations
No matter where we go, people are sad and pitiful. And we are all people. If someone attacks my child with words or anything else, I will smack them upside the head. Do we not believe our Father will not do the same? It may not be immediate, but it will happen. He has a no tolerance zone for His children being hurt.
