It will be interesting to see if she keeps her word regarding interviewing Palin after the campaign.
I just think she can spin it anyway she wants. You know she doesn't want to take any thunder from her man Obama.
.
If McCain and Palin win in November, and Oprah then wants her to come on her show, I hope Palin declines the invitation.
That would send a message to her and lefties like her.
What goes around comes around.

The McCan't remember camp refuses to let her talk with the media. This include Fox new which leans far to the right. I wonder what they are afraid of??????
Oh please.
Democrats and left wingers are the ones who are afraid right now. That's why they're attacking her so hard.
She's become immensely popular, has energized the conservative base, and is in position to pick off a lot of women voters and independents the Democrats thought they would have gotten.
They were ready to deal with Romney, or Tim Pawlenty... but they never expected Sarah Palin; and they clearly don't know yet how to deal with her. They tried to make her look like a lightweight, but now they can see the public isn't buying that.
41 million people watched her speech. She energized McCain and the rest of the Party. Now 39 million people tuned in to watch McCain's speech (more than tuned in to watch Obama!).
Yup.
They're scared... and with good reason.

TR, you've been throwing around the "scared" argument a lot lately. What exactly are you proposing that the Dem's are scared of? I completely agree that Sarah Palin energized the Republican base which John McCain badly needed. She brought in $10 million dollars in donations to the RNC after her speech that McCain needed.
But what kind of strides do you think she's made to reaching out to the mod voters who'll decide the election. Her speech Wed. night definitely wasn't geared to mods. It was geared to the base.
Other than the amount of people that viewed the speeches, what gives you the inclination that Sarah Palin is appealing to the mod/swing vote?

America's 100 largest companies realize that age, experience and seasoned judgment are necessary to successfully manage big enterprises. They rarely entrust those responsibilities to untested, unproven management candidates. The average age of their chief executives is 57; for their chairmen, it's 59.
In the international arena, Winston Churchill, one of the greatest leaders of the 20th century and considered a maverick in his day, became England's prime minister in its time of great need in 1940, when he was 66, and served until age 71. He was elected PM again in 1951, when he was 77, and served until 1955, when he was 81.
Golda Meir, another outstanding world leader, became the fourth prime minister of the state of Israel in 1969, only a few weeks from her 71st birthday.
This is the first part of a series that will run throughout this week.
Wait, Wait, Wait, PO. You and I had this discussion about Sarah Palin this week and you argued against age and experience. This is a No Flip Flopping zone. You gotta pick one or the other.

I'm sorry, I don't recall the discussion. Can you link it here? I'm getting ready to leave so I'll have to catch up with you later. Thanks!

If you think she hasn't been appealing to many women voters and working class independents, then maybe you just haven't been paying attention... or maybe you're seeing what you want to see.
Anyway,
I'm not even going to waste time saying any more than that. My previous comment stands. I'm not going to get on a merry-go-round with you on this matter.
Have a good day sir.

I'm on my way out the door to Tulsa today, so I'll talk to you guys later on.
Thanks, but I have to point out that I never said she wasn't experienced enough to handle the job. I remember saying that even her Point Guard discipline followed her into her adult life and paved the way for greater things ahead.
I am merely saying that if anyone thought she couldn't handle it, she isn't walking on her own and would learn quickly.
McCain will also learn some things he doesn't know as President.
Every person taking on a new position in any field will learn and learn quick.
I've heard Engineers and Architects say, "Whatever you learned in college, throw it out. It's not going to be like that once you get into the job."
