Re: Do You Believe In Women Preachers?
*Though it has never happened, if my wife & I were ever in a service where the host pastor put a woman up to “preach” we (and the church I pastor) would quietly get up and leave. No way my conscience would let me sit & endure such blatant in-God’s-face rebellion...but, I don’t anticipate that ever happening in our circle of fellowship .

Re: Do You Believe In Women Preachers?
We had the Buxton’s over for maybe a week. The wife was scheduled to teach. I purposely missed that one.
I was kinda shocked. My pastor was very anti women preacher. ..♂️

So you wouldn't have listened to Sister Nona Freeman expound on the Word of God... ? Not being critical of your conviction, just asking...

If women cannot be the Sons of God, then men cannot be the Bride of Christ.

So, we are only saved if we are in the ministry?

I have never heard Sister Nona Freeman expound the Word of God as far as teaching it. I have heard here testify concerning what God has done in her life. Still I think the issues can blur together, when we consider, "preaching" to herald. The office of eldership leadership of married adult men and their families.

Not quite what I said, Brother.
But if Jesus calls ministers forth and labels them the Sons of God, then that cannot exclude women.
Why?
Well, Jesus says that He's going to return for a Church that's made itself ready, in like manner of a bride preparing herself for her groom.
If men are included in this Bride metaphor, then women cannot feasibly be excluded from Christ's meaning of the Sons of God.
But to reference your assumption on salvation, that's an entirely different experience(s) that hasn't anything to do whether or not a man or woman is in the ministry as his/her personal calling or work for God.

I have read about her, and listened to what God did for her and her husband on the mission field. Verbal Bean spoke very highly of her as well. Yet, the five fold ministry is not a mission for women.

Brother, I understand what your saying. Yet, let’s discuss something here. Women can go and teach bible studies, yet it has to be in the window the word gives them. Same to the men, we operate in the realm the word gives us. There is spiritual headship, authority that cannot be broken, if we break that plum line then we’re in open rebellion. The Bible stats the man is the head of the women, the women is not to usurp the authority of the man. For a women to pastor, preach, teach men what God wants that’s breaking the line of authority. If we don’t see authority with a man and a women then kids won’t see it either, we’ll have a church of chaos. Can women be used, absolutely! Let them be used where God wants them to be, not where THEY desire.
