Through Adam sin entered into the world. Adam committed sin. When he committed sin spiritual death resulted for all men.

You affirm the ability but deny the propensity?

Is not original sin a taint to every person born ?
Does not original sin speak of a condition that we all are born with ?

Im not catholic. I don't believe in original sin.

If however by original sin you mean everyone has the ability and propensity to commit sin? Yes I believe that. Our record is tainted when we commit Sin. That is why the author made the point to mention "tempted in all points like us, yet without sin.

What is sin?

Funny. Seems like you were agreeing with me on a point he disagreed with me on.

I see a whole lot of semantics going on here. I also see the handwriting on the wall.

I'm out. Be Blessed!

Elder Strange did Jesus Christ have the inclination or tendency to sin?
According to Webster Propensity means the inclination or tendency.

Scott, do you believe through the Holy Spirit you have the ability to resist temptation and sin and then to not commit sin, though you have a fallen nature?
