Re: Welcome Fellow Christians - Steve Pixler 8/17/
reprobate (adj.)
early 15c., "rejected as worthless," from Late Latin reprobatus, past participle of reprobare "disapprove, reject, condemn," from Latin re- "opposite of, reversal of previous condition" (see re-) + probare "prove to be worthy" (see probate (n.)). Earliest form of the word in English was a verb, meaning "to disapprove" (early 15c.).
reprobate (n.)
1540s, "one rejected by God," from reprobate (adj.). Sense of "abandoned or unprincipled person" is from 1590s.
Just in case anyone doesn't know what the word means.

So let me get this straight....
You deny that Steve Pixler is a sinner and you deny he has any need to repent...BUT...
you AMEN Steve Epleys statement that all the good saints should leave the church.
Hmmm. Something's not adding up.
If he is neither a sinner, nor has any need to repent, then shouldn't you be praying that his church have explosive revival? Instead you're wanting people to leave.
nDavid has you guys pegged and now both of you are back pedaling and talking out of both sides of your mouth.

Then he's really not going a different direction? Or at least the direction he's going isn't wrong?

Re: Welcome Fellow Christians - Steve Pixler 8/17/
WHY? I think, I read where SE wrote that there was a history in Ft Worth of two other Apostolic churches that are now completely non-existent, that did the same thing that SP is doing. So many times, in the past it has been observed that men don't stop with "the long laundry list of standards / dress codes" as you call it. They keep going until Oneness is really semantics and water baptism in Jesus name is really no longer a command, but an option to done if one "feels" the necessity. Some posting on this subject are proof to SE that he's right. jmho

The main definition is rejected as worthless that is how the word was used in the early 15th century A.D.

Sit I back peddle from no one.
The direction he is going it wrong and AI want no part of it and if I were in his church would already have left.
Now you stop putting words in my mouth.

I am done here. Some people want only to argue and tear down what we conservative Pentecost believe. I have better things to do with my time

And yet you will be back. Maybe under a different name, maybe under this one, but you will definitely be back.

Does that accurately reflect how God sees the world He died to save?
Worthless?
