Sometimes folks need a bit of guidance, though. The doctor told my daughter everything about her broken arm; the pain that she would feel, how long it would take to heal, what she could expect while healing, how to exercise the arm to get it moving again, etc. But it took my guidance to get her through it.
Just want to point out, though; that there is a PROCESS (steps which take time) to healing. But Jesus is the answer and He ultimately brings complete healing; bringing Him glory, giving us an awesome testimony and the ability to be - as you said - an encouragement & help to others.
Sure. There's always the "buts". My post wasn't meant to be fully comprehensive.
Hope it will be a help maybe to someone.

You have no idea the sheer volume of self control that it is taking to keep my teeth clenched together at this point. If the words in my mind were counted, I just earned about 87 infractions.
I need to stop typing now, or they are gonna spew out all over the place.
Oh, how i hate to disappoint you. That is an old play on words from NFCF days. I believe Coonskinner started it, in reference to Larry Boy
yea this is true. however what thepew said is also true. you took the time to consider before you lashed out in a way you might regret, and responded in a meaningful way that address the situation quite well.
good for you!
