Wait? No b-day's either? Can I ask where this comes from, I am genuinely curious.

I already spent $35 on Christmas magazines yesterday. That is besides the six I get in the mail every month. He asked me how much I was spending on magazines. I said, "Too much." His reply, "That's what I thought."

Ooops, I bought another one today!

I'm trying to cut back on this expense. Trying!!!!!

Fair enough, thanks for answering. Isn't there a religious group that doesn't celebrate birthdays? Jehovah's Witnesses or 7th Day Adventists?

Maybe it's Mormons. I don't remember. I do remember going to my cousin's house as a kid and asking for a Coke, only to hear him gasp in shock, and say that it was a sin to drink caffeine. His dad was (is) a priest in the Mormon church. They have great family values, though. I don't think any of them miss the things that they abstain from.

That is what I do I buy on sale- I love clothes, I used to buy tons of clothes when I was single--and when we had extra cash. Not right now though. But I know it's not forever. It was fun buying clothes when I was a size 6, yeah WHEN--well I wear an 8 sometimes so that so bad, I guess.

Me, too. We did have it at the time, or I wouldn't have spent it. I DID check the bank account. (Totally premeditated, obviously!!!)

Although, I remember when we got our first debit cards...it took me quite awhile (to Jeff's chagrin) to realize that the balance I checked at the bank was not necessarily the amount that could be SPENT. LOL!!! I am NOT good with money--I'm glad he takes care of that or we would be in a deep mire.

Why when this one is working so nicely! It's like asking someone to go sit at another table in mid stream of a juicey conversation-

you just take a breath and stay put cuz you are already set!

This thread will work fine thanx!

No, that's a good size after having children and getting a little older. I think we can look older if we are too skinny. I feel good in a 10 or 12. Too skinny in an 8 for me.
