And, I dunno that I'm doing so well. I'm giving very serious though to quitting. I can't keep this up for years and years, and it will take that long to get a degree. I'm working very hard right now to make some plans, figure out how I can get a degree and not miss an entire span of my life, and my kids' lives, in the process. Life is far too precious for me to spend it exhausted and burned out.

Pace yourself. For what is worth until I was 31 I just had a high school education. I now have four degrees including a doctor of Jurisprudence. I have always had a full time job. Including law school. I merely purposed in heart the six years from now I was going to be six years older, with or without the education.
On the other hand. Pace yourself. No matter what was going on I set aside quality time for the boys on Saturday. It is not easy, but it can be done.

If you don't care then why are you trying to convince me? Rico, you are missing the point; even MissB gave scripture to back up the "choice" factor, you haven't. Anyone who leaves the natural affection of the opposite gender to be attracted to the same sex made that choice. Kinda like making the choice to be bound by other desires, such as cigarettes, liquor, drugs, sex, and countless other sins. Give me a break, sheeeesh!

There are many many gay people who say that all they ever remember from the first moment they became aware of such things, is being attracted to members of the same sex. They talked about feeling that way as young children. Do you honestly believe that they made that choice?

Exactly my point. The scripture Brother Eastman is talking about is not talking about people who have always been attracted to the same sex. It is talking about people who "leave the natural use of women". Pretty tough to leave something you've never been interested in in the first place.

Thank you! You know, I do understand the hard work you have to put into it. I was telling my instructor that maybe I made a mistake with all the work I have been doing. Supporting a family on one income, finding the time to prepare for sermons, buying a house, preparing to move into that house with maintenance, ministering to poor people, and going to school, has kept me busy and tired; I sometimes want to quit, but there aree also times that I'm glad I made this decision to even try. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

And you still don't know what you are talking about it. You are acting as if homosexuals wake up one day and say to themselves, "I think I will decide to be attracted to people of the same sex now." That isn't what happens. For them, being attracted to people of the same sex is just automatice as being attracted to people of the opposite sex is for heterosexuals. It isn't a choice they have made.

Rico, if you are going to give an opinion, at least back it with substantial information that is backed by sources; otherwise, it's just an opinion and nothing better than that.

If you want proof then take the time to actually talk with a few homosexuals. Until you do, you are just guessing and letting your pre-conceived notions speak for you.

Okay Rico, I concede to your superior understanding and your ability to convey your argument. I give in, and ask for mercy from your not so pre-concieved notions. Thank you for enlightening my understanding with all those facts. You win.
