I would love to sometimes lol
as i said i don't mind on sunday but i hate changing twice on sunday
and really, WHY do we have to be suited up with a neck tie choking us when it's 120 degrees outside??? what is the point to that?

well i live in desert climate similar to Las vegas. we have a string of days where it's 110 and sometimes above. when you have a 3 layers of clothes and a tie and expected to be full of energy, it feels like its 120.
120 is not nice weather do you think?

Not a chance. We only see very hot weather for a short time here. I actually went out without my coat today! yeah it was 3 degrees with a -5 wind chill! Ahh!
Most of the time I see guys shedding their coats and ties before service even begins... Are y'all allowed to take your tie off or is it mandatory it stays on for the whole service. I've seen preachers demand that other ministers wear a suit and tie to service but if you take it off during service, you are okay!

we don't have to wear a coat just a shirt and tie. we can take the tie off if it gets too hot. If you are enjoying -5 you need to have your head examined! we are expecting a cold winter pattern all week but for us that will be 50s with rain

The spirit of this thread is not divisive.
I don't care what any minister wears. But there are those who do care what ministers wear. My question was if this attitude existed anywhere else.
