I looove fried chicken. Don't eat much of it these days. We'd go to buffets alot when I was a child. That's all I'd eat if it was available!!
Which explains the waist size..

Ok, Margie.....here's the Honey Butter Potatoes.

Use about 4 pounds of potatoes (red skin is best, but white will do). Boil them with the skins for about ten minutes till they just start to be tender. Slice them about 1/4 inch thick and spread them in a 9 X 13 Pyrex pan.

Mix up 2 sticks butter, about 3/4 c. honey, some garlic salt, onion powder, salt & pepper and about 2 t. red pepper and melt it all together in the microwave. Stir well. I'm really just guessing at the measurements, but I did use 2 sticks of real butter. Pour it over the layers of potatoes and bake at 350 for about 45 minutes, covered with foil. It's better if you do it in layers, pouring the mixture over each layer and then adding more potatoes and repeating.

My family loves these!!!
