Re: Pedophilia in Kansas Church
That is not belligerent. It is factual information.

Outside of these compounds are there Christian churches?

Re: Pedophilia in Kansas Church
There must have been. The filipinos who did not live in the compound held church somewhere. My neighbor (ex-marine, pilot, owned a harley LOL cool guy) was married to a filipino and wherever she was going to church it was outside our community.
It is not obvious and it is not talked about but it is there. Everywhere the expats lived they held their own version of church whatever it was.

Re: Pedophilia in Kansas Church
So is it safe to say inside the compounds they had buildings to use for churches but outside they probably held services in private homes?

Re: Pedophilia in Kansas Church
I don't know the answer to that but my best guess would be - probably so. Saudi is not like the other referenced countries - their churches have websites and such

Bbyrd, you are a different type of person. It does not make you any less christian than those who love traditional christianity.
Just be you.

Re: Pedophilia in Kansas Church
Here is a link to a November 15, 2012 news article updating the Jordan Young case. It looks like January 10th and 23rd and 24th, 2013 are the next critical dates.
Bottom line is that they are waiting on DNA testing results from the KBI (Kansas Bureau of Investigation) that the article quotes officials as saying "The direction of these cases will be severely impacted by what's at the KBI".

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
