Water that comes to the houses here only comes about one time every 4 days and they catch it in a barrel and haul it up in a bucket to a tank and when lucky they can have 2 nice showers a week that water can come from their shower head of course it is cold. We are trying to raise 200 dollars to buy them a little pump to pump from the barrel to the tank but right now things are very crude...very crude...over 100 people stood for several hours last night and listened to us tell them the story of Jesus...
OH, for another life to give to the mission field...Brother Alvear and I love the field and plan to be buried over here...I have not been well for quite some time but stay on the go...the nurse from our headquarters church came and begged me not to come up here BUT I love it...It is my first love...It is a calling not a preference.

I was really talking about RCCraig and her just taking a bath in a scarf!! TMI!!!
btw...It's the first time in my life I have ever seen missionaries bathing...
and hopefully the last....

I meant to cover my hair because I wouldn't wash it in the river with SNAKES!!!!!!

done it off and on all my life...when we are in the backlands...I have never been really afraid...I LOVE it...there is a mango tree right by the bank and the kids were eating them so we did too... very good...
