Picked up the Orange Box the other day too.
I haven't had a change to play any of the games yet, but watched my son play some of Portal and Team Fortress 2.
TF2 looks like a BLAST!

I have heard so many good reviews about this game. It sounds like it's the game that the whole gaming community has been waiting for years for. Most games put out in the last 2 years or so have been disappointing in one way or another for the hardcore fps gamers. Usually it stems from the engine the game is built on. Looks like they got it right this time. From what I'm hearing its like they have combined Battlefield, Ravenshield, and Call of Duty into one game.
Keith, have you played the Arcade Mode yet? Or is that available with the xbox? |
I don't believe that I have it on the XBOX 360 version, I would buy it for PC as well, but I think I topped off my PC video card, but the Xbox 360 HD setup really makes it look good, I need to eventually get a Surround Sound to go with it, but that will have to wait.

We've been strict with our boys and told them that they were not allowed to have games where the point was to shoot people. Shooting robots, etc., was fine, but not people.
But Justin is 18 this year, so I think it'll be fine for him to have this.
So thanks, guys! I really appreciate the idea. I needed some ideas for him for Christmas gifts. He'll be very surprised with this one.

Yup....but that means if it is DX10 it's just not going to work too well on most of our PCs lol.
