If this is the modus operandi, it may make the UPCI even more exclusionary...I've already heard of people in UPCI telling others they are lost if they are not part of the organization. If there is the "official 12 apostles and 70 Elders," could this cause more of this type of thinking? ....Instead of people coming together, it just seems like more division to me. LORD, HELP US.

I knew of a Trinitarian Pentecostal church that adopted this philosophy and it blew the church to smithereens. The pastor would only talk to the 12, and everyone else had to talk to the 12, not him.

Thad, in the Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ, of the Apostolic Faith, the org is governed by the Presider and an Apostles Board.
It has worked well since 1919...

that's how COGIC is run too - they have the 12 Apostles (Bishops)
