If the name pentecostal was on the sign they may not have ever came.
I will now because I know a lot of people don't share the same opinion.

JM, I agree it is shall we say more user friendly to add words like 'center' to the name instead of other things. I attended a church that was Apostolic Bible Church. In the area of the county I live Apostolic is strickly a spanish thing. That church has a spanish ministry per se but not the same thing. So after having the ABC name for 30 yrs they change it to New Life Bible Church. It is a bit more user friendly. I told them that they should have named it New Life Community Center, but they would not have fulfilled the community part to well..lol.

Here in Nashville we stuck to the basics and settled for just two words in our church name. "Christ" and "Church"! LOL!!!
I don't have a problem with these different names for churches but the whole "Champion" thing doesn't appeal to me. I didn't like the COC name and I don't lke this proposed one for Spring Tabernacle. Just my personal taste. Doesn't make them bad or wrong!

Just FYI- Church of Champions is so named because it is physically located in the Champions area of NW Houston. Spring is 25-30 miles from that area.

Spring is the area where Jabo Green's church is... pretty much between Klein and Conroe School districts on I45.

I think Spring Tabernacle is Jabo Green's church. They just built a new one a couple of years ago. They used the old church for a spanish church.
