Okay, CC1 has moved on and my attempts to start a fight and stir up discord have failed. It is with a repentant attitude that I acknowledge that CC1 DID NOT infer that RevRandy's wife had a beard.

I have learned to be more meek and lowly and to avoid putting so much sugar on the Fruit Loops® at breakfast.

Final was 19-13, GB.

It was a good game, but almost had a record with penalties, especially against GB.

Denver lost a couple of opportunities, including a ball batted out of Cutler's hands by his own man at the GB 1 yd line!

There was a lot of running around to get nowhere by both teams, but it was exciting. I watched the game with a Packer fan (I'm a Bronco fan), and we were passing the tissues back and forth.....LOL!

My brother called to tell me he lost $10 to his best friend on the game. I told him that's what he gets for betting!

My soon-to-be-ex-husband called to tell me he was rooting for the Packers because he's still miffed that the Broncos beat his Steelers last weekend. He called after the game quite happy at the outcome!

All in all, it was a good game, and if the Broncos had to lose, I'm glad they lost to the Packers.

Well, it's a win I'm not happy about. I am happy they won, but not the way they did..... WAY too sloppy with far too many penalties. I hope Mike had the you-know-what to bench a choice player or two this weekend. Even an average player is preferable to one who racks up 50+ yards of penalties single handed.

I hear ya on that. And to top it all, the player seemed pleased everytime he got a penalty! He was clapping at one, and laughing in Mike's face on another.

That's on another thread- but it too was hijacked; with apologies to both you and C.S.

Let's throw a big to-do when (if?) he comes back. Make him feel welcomed. The guy has game. I haven't debated shoe laces in over 20+ years.

Oh... and back on topic here... how do you know when you've got a good vein slected... and does it hurt? I probably should just "end it all" by showing up in Boston tomorrow and stalling their parade... nah... nothing means anything anymore.
