Missiouri ...i \'m not sure . they are fairly moderate- I doubt they will feel much effect.

I cannot get anyone to confirm this but where would they go if they did leave? I know of at least 50 that have left and gone independent because of the backwoods mentality of this GA District. They have lost ALL the progressive churches with buildings in my area! There are two UPC's in Marietta that rent storefronts with a handfull of people in each one - just a few miles apart.
Who will lead these rebellious renegades??????????? Maybe someone with an 8th Grade Education?????????

Here are just a few of the 21 rules and regulations, standards of HOLINESS that the GEORGIA DISTRICT UPCI gave us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO Mickey Mouse Watches or T-Shirts.

NO "A" on ball cap. The prohibition of ball caps was lifted but with the stipulation that there be NO "A" on any ball cap. You can have a "B" or "C" but NOT AN "A"!

NO splits of any kind in any dresses or skirts. WE ALL KNOW WHAT THOSE UNGODLY SPLITS MEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There will be a "Split skirt committee" that will judge if anyone has dared to wear a split skirt and if so - they will have material to sow in back of the split!!!!!!!!! FOLKS - I AM NOT JOKING HERE!

The blond haired blue eye white boys with blond peach fuzz can stay but the black haired - black peach fuzz boys have to shave or leave. They will set up a mustache committee to make sure if the peach fuzz is "dark enough" they will have to shave or leave!

NO - Colored Lip Dew. I did ask if they could PLEASE have cherry or grape chap-stick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now don't that sound like a district of fine, upright, sensible, progressive, soul winning men that intend to win the world for JESUS CHRIST???????????

I don't get the "A" ball cap thing? This is obviously the extreme right view. Surely the Tulsa organizers aren't that UC are they?

Having been born and raised in the UPC in Illinois and lived there for 36 years, having personally been a member of 6 churches in the north, south, and western IL, and visited countless others, some on a regular basis to the point that I knew the members well, yes, I most certainly disagree!! LOL!
