Janitor isn't a man-made position? Who took care of the toilets in the first church? I'm sure someone had to carry out the chamber pots....

I'm just saying that even though it amy not be biblical......does the co=pastor still have to be voted in as pastor? Is this a by-law question

Actually, I was...sort of...but I was also trying to remember of there was any NT example of a church assembly working together to choose a pastor or leader, or if that was left to elders.

It would be specific to the local church and its by-laws. Typically, one reason the "co-pastor" was made a "co-pastor" was to ease in any transition scenario.
