Is this why you chose a screen name that immediately brings to mind "Constipated Apostolic"? This could explain a lot!

True but to the UPC of Canada it would be a great loss as we have so few churches west of Ontario.

I read a fantastic post about all the rumored Districts leaving on another board.

Alas, the rules have changed and if I cross posted here, they would remove me as member.

Rumors abound.
The truth is many men are awaiting until after the new year to leave, as their dues are paid up. Others are awaiting alternatives discussed ad naseam on other threads.

Don't know if it would even be possible for a district to leave.

I think that would just entail all of the churches leaving simutaneously and then sticking together through something of their own creation.

I do believe that many will leave, but it won't be done on a district level.

As for the Apostolic Contender...I looked in vain for who publishes this. Does anyone know???

The DS of Canadian Plains District if Johnny King. His son is the youth president. They both have preached for us several times. The church in Calgary runs 400+ so it would make an impact on the UPCI as a whole. It may not be that many churches but it's going to be hard to replace men like Bro King.
