This was brought up by Bro. Jones and the financial committee during our business meeting. It was a letter included in our packets that said we were among the 'top teir' in financial responsibility among all the religious organizations recorded. Ahead of something like 95% of all the others.

People can, and will throw a lot of stones at the WEC; but the way they handle money is exemplary. I've seen it.

Who was the letter from, Stead? The auditing firm? Are all divisions financially healthy?

Not me. And there's really very few things that I'm willing to stick my neck out for anymore; but the WEC, from my years of watching and participating is stellar in their performance.

And that gets documented at least every year at GC.

Too bad this is not practiced in the local assemblies. I had a pastor for 13 years who took in 2 million a year in tithes and never accounted for them to the local assembly. Still does not to this day!!!
