Tina and I were scoping out the campground for our Friend's Day outing in October with a couple from the church. Afterward we decided to stop at a cafe to eat supper.

I ordered tea! Really, I did!

But when the waitress brought it out, it was sour. The only thing they had besides the tea was sody-pop. So I ordered a pepsi to replace the tea (over Tina's objections).

It just happened! Now I'm overwhelmed with guilt and shame.:sshhh

My doctor told me that the diet cola was just as bad. He described a chemical reaction that takes place that releases a hormone that causes you to crave more food.

In the end, he says, the diet stuff makes you hungrier and contributes more to weight gain than regular cola. Dunno... but then again he was the one doctor who said I wasn't going to die despite the fact 2 others had x-rays showing that I was.
