Then you also know the bad attitudes was a two way street!

A lot of the AMF folks were some of the bitterest most judgemental people on the planet. Condemmed all of the UPC to hell because they were mistreated by some UPC leaders.

They preached more against the UPC from their pulpits that for anything much of the time in the first decade or so after they left.

I'm not UC by a long shot but Elder Burr had some insight on scriptural new testament leadership.
I think at the time some officials were trying to govern local churches,and were exercising Lordship over the pastors.
