From what I've heard the past week, it's unsurprising that Belichek would do this. The common theme is Belichek is an arrogant jerk who's only goal is to make himself look good. He likes his money and being on the sideline.
Quite the opposite what I had thought he would be. Before I moved, I rooted for the Pats during their SB years and wins and thought Belichek was a good, down to earth guy.
HA! I couldn't have been more wrong, according to sports radio analysts.
I feel for you though. The Pats have talent enough to win without cheating. Just imagine how the players must feel. Now knowing that the reason the play-calling worked in the second half could be attributed to a seedy assistant videotaping defensive signals.
I have a feeling Belichek will be missing that video this weekend against the Chargers. The Pats should win at home, but it won't be easy. And it will be mostly because of Charger mistakes.
