I'm actually surprised by the poll results so far. Of course, frequent internet users are probably a different demographic than the Pentecostal movement as a whole.

me three, but it is always good to dispel an incorrect stereotype. Stereotypes that are spot-on are still acceptable.

Also everyone should note that $50,000 in some areas is completely different than $50,000 in other areas.

Oh brother Jones,

I just pray that your time will be more free to do the will of the Lord in ministry. I know that you have a great ministry that God can use mightily. There is no need for us to be so burdened down with the cares of life, like I have in times past that we cannot do his bidding.

Since I retired, my income is somewhere around 50k+/- per year and I have found that I can live comfortably on that amount, since I have no debts. So can you. But, it is great to have some free time to serve a good cause, including the word and work of the Lord. I pray that you will strive toward that goal. The field needs you. God has called you. Souls are waiting on you. The need beckons for you.

So this travel expense is then included in your salary, right?

This is a big deal - costing my small company nearly $20,000.00 each year.

Nope... they still reimburse me for my travel.. In the past I made 30% of GP on all of my sales PLUS travel and living expenses were reimbursed.

I now make a salary plus 10% of all GP over $250K... the salary is based on the first $250K of GP and is slightly less than 28%. The funny thing is that they don't understand why I am not motivated to generate more than the original $250K... I mean why wouldn't I get excited about making 28% on the first $250K and then 10% on each $250K after?

Either way, I make a very good income for a Bible College educated individual and it enables me to be comfortable and bless the Kingdom.

I am a blessed man!

I guess I'm a bit curious as to the intent of this thread, and the "How much did your house cost" thread? The house is not quite as personal of a question, but the "how much do you make" is an intensely personal matter to me.

The polls are getting a feel as to who is represented here. No one is divulging personal information uless they want to.
