I love snow! But I've come to realize and have seen first hand that snow here, where I'm living now, creates so much problem and chaos that I really hate to see it come. Powerlines fall down, power grids are affected and then huge traffic probs. City cleanup just isn't able to cope with it and then it's just a huge mess.

I don't MIND snow myself except we get very little here. Yes, even in Wisconsin. Granted the people next to the big lake can get quite a bit of lake-effect stuff, but the normal pattern is to get many days of one inch or less per day. Just enough to keep the roads bad and the salt trucks out constantly.
