Foreigner - Cold As Ice

You're as cold as ice
, you're willing to sacrifice our love
You never take advice, someday youll pay the price, I know

I've seen it before, it happens all the time
Youre closing the door, you leave the world behind
Youre digging for gold, youre throwing away
A fortune in feelings, but someday youll pay

Youre as cold as ice, youre willing to sacrifice our love
You want paradise, but someday youll pay the price, I know

I've seen it before, it happens all the time
Youre closing the door, you leave the world behind
Youre digging for gold, youre throwing away
A fortune in feelings, but someday youll pay

(solo)

Cold as ice - you know that you are
Cold as ice - as cold as ice to me
Cold as ice

Youre as cold as ice, cold as ice, I know, yes I know
Youre as cold as ice, cold as ice, I know, oh yes I know
Youre as cold as ice, cold as ice, I know, oh yes I know
Youre as cold as ice... (to fade)

The Gin Blossoms - Cheatin'
p.s. Don't ever tell your significant other that it is your favorite song. They tend to get upset.

New York City, where it's cold as heck
And the streetlights shone in my blue room
I was thinking, about the nights we spent
Back in Galveston beneath the Georgia moon
It was early and I'd had my share
I was countin' change for a cab ride back to bed
She looked to me, through the cold night air
And thoughts of you kicked off inside my head

Well she was tall, hair dark as midnight
She had a way just like you do
To make me feel, just like a woman should
You can't call it cheatin'
Cause she reminds me of you...

Though I loved you and the trust we shared
Lord don't tell me that I've thrown it all away
A moment's weakness shouldn't change the fact
That I need you and there's nothing more to say

Lord she was tall, hair dark as midnight
She had a way just like you do
To make me feel, just like a woman should
You can't call it cheatin'
Cause she reminds me of you

As kids we sang:

Great big gobs of
greasy, grimey gopher guts,
mutilated monkey meat,
chopped up parakeet,
french friend eyeballs swimming in a pool of blood
and I forgot my spoon.

That's pretty unromantic.

I left my sinuses in Arizona
I sent my liver to Perue
I shipped my lungs and my kidneys
In the summer to Sidney
But I'm giving my heart to YOU!

My Baby No Esta Aqui No More
Garth Brooks

She used to be my rosa amarilla
My little Mexicali tomatilla
But then one night I drank too much sangria
Woke up and found a note that said I'll see you

(Chorus)
Oh, my baby no esta aqui no more
My baby no esta aqui no more
She left me here with nada
Broke my heart like a pinata
My baby no esta aqui no more

Whoa, whoa, whoa, if you see her
Please, please tell her that i need her

I used to be her number one vaquero
Her numero uno cabllero
But I've had to hock my spurs and my sombrero
'Cause when she left she took all my dinero

(Repeat Chorus)

Whoa, whoa, whoa, if you see her
Well please, please tell her that i need her

Oh, my baby no esta aqui no more
My baby no esta aqui no more
she left me with nada
Broke my heart like a pinata
My baby no esta aqui
My baby no esta aqui
My baby no esta aqui no more

Dedicated to Benny

Remember when you ran away
And I got on my knees
And begged you not to leave
Because I'd go berserk?
Well. . .

You left me anyhow
And then the days got worse and worse
And now you see I've gone
Completely out of my mind
And. . .

They're coming to take me away, HA HA
They're coming to take me away, HO HO HEE HEE HA HA
To the funny farm
Where life is beautiful all the time
And I'll be happy to see
Those nice, young men
In their clean, white coats
And they're coming to take me away, Ha-haaa!

You thought it was a joke
And so you laughed
You laughed when I had said
That losing you would make me flip my lid
Right. . .

You know you laughed, I heard you laugh
You laughed, you laughed and laughed
And then you left
But now you know I'm utterly mad!
And. . .

They're coming to take me away, HA HA
They're coming to take me away, HO HO HEE HEE HA HA
To the happy home
With trees and flowers and chirping birds
And basket weavers who sit and smile
And twiddle their thumbs and toes
And they're coming to take me away, Ha-haaa!

I cooked your food
I cleaned your house
And this is how you pay me back
For all my kind, unselfish loving deeds?!!
Hah. . .

Well you just wait
They'll find you yet
And when they do they'll
Put you in the ASPCA, you mangy mutt!
And. . .

They're coming to take me away, HA HA
They're coming to take me away, HO HO HEE HEE HA HA
To the funny farm
Where life is beautiful all the time
And I'll be happy to see
Those nice, young men
In their clean, white coats
And they're coming to take me away, Ha-haaa!

To the happy home
With trees and flowers and chirping birds
And basket weavers who sit and smile
And twiddle their thumbs and toes
And they're coming to take me away, Ha-haaa!

To the funny farm
Where life is beautiful all the time
And I'll be happy to see
Those nice, young men
In their clean, white coats
And they're coming to take me away, Ha-haaa!
