I could testify over and over regarding this subject! God has supplies my needs repeatedly over the years!!
When I was a teen, I was, like most typical teens, always driving my car on "prayer and air" instead of gasoline. One Sunday when I arrived for church, our pastor asked me to go and pick up a lady who needed a ride to church. Understand now that I had just enough gas to budge the needle off of empty. I hoped it would be enough to get me home after service (I lived about 15 miles from the church). But I knew there wasn't enough to get this lady, take her home after church AND get home myself. So a friend rode with me to pick up this lady. We decided to pray and ask God to help us out here. We finished praying and I am telling you the absolute truth - we WATCHED the needle go up on my gas guage all on it's own. It went up and up slowly, finally stopping at just over 1/2 of a tank. As it turned out, that gas was just enough for me to go on until my next payday.

Another time, when I was about age 19, I had moved from our safe little town where I knew I could always go home if I was hungry, to Pontiac, Michigan. Big city. And I was so determined to prove my independence that I would never ever have let anyone know if I was in need. At one point, I had absolutely NOTHING in my refrigerator and only a couple of cans of vegetables in my pantry. Nothing else to eat!! And no means of getting any money until the next payday 2 weeks away.
Well, I went to church on Wednesday night and found a gift from my Secret Sister. FOUR bags full of groceries!!!!! I found later at revealing that there was no way in the world that that Secret Sister could have known that I needed those groceries. She just followed the nudge of the Lord.

Once when we were first married, the whole bottom part of my car fell out on the ground (rusted completely). It was going to cost several hundred dollars to fix and there was no way we could afford it. All we could do was pray! That day I went home and there was a check in the mailbox from my mom for almost exactly the same amount, where she had sold an instrument of mine that I didn't even realize she was selling.

And I also want to let you know that through this whole thing with Walt's aneurism, he didn't work from May 12 through the beginning of November. Not one day. And I didn't work from May 12 through mid-September. Yet, through all of that time, God supplied every single need we had. When I was low on gas, someone would bring me a Speedway gas card. EVERY time. When I needed to be able to feed my kids, the church brought over groceries and gift cards for the grocery store. We received gift cards for different restaurants (fast food mostly). And in addition to all of this, we never one time had to be late on any bills. The house payments were all made on time, the utility bills, everything!!! God supplied over and over!!!!
Even to the point that this month, we have our car insurance quarterly payment due. I was juggling things trying to figure out how to come up with this large amount. Then we went to present the special award to Swanton Rescue for Life Flight. While we were there, they presented us with an enelope of money from a 50/50 raffle that they did. (no we didn't win the raffle. We don't even enter those things. They had chosen us as their "charity" for that raffle). The money was just enough to cover our car insurance. One again..................

When my daughter decided to attend a private Christian college, we realized that we only had enough money in her savings to pay for one semester. She applied for scholarships, but didn't get them, so she just went on faith. Midway through the semester, we were in a special service and were prompted to give away her remaining college money that we had saved up. We wrote the check and just had to trust God. Within a few weeks, she received a totally unexpected scholarship for four years worth of full tuition and they even made it retroactive. She finished college without any student loans!

He surely is, Sherri!!!! It's humbling to think that a God as wonderful and marvelous as ours wants to be such a huge part of our everyday life. He truly cares about the small details. The God who created the stars and the planets and the universe still cares when we stub our toe. Is that amazing or what!
