BTW this goes to show really that numbers is NOT a sign of true Christianity. The NFL has bigger numbers than we do....because they are entertaining.

This is a symptom of American society as a whole where commercialism, consumerism and capitalism has most of America brainwashed to think Bigger is Better, More is better....in terms of temporal carnal things.

The show gets bigger. The screens get bigger. The production gets bigger. The music gets bigger. Going to many churches is a lot like going to a entertainment venue or the newest better mall.

Is it no wonder a growing trend in America is house churches?

And usually any counter argument is "your just jealous"....tell that to the growing number of people who avoid mega churches for house churches...if it was a matter of jealous, because they wanted all that too, they could just do what many others have and are doing...leave their small comfortable intimate churches...where you have more accountability, to the bigger, better anonymous churches

Well I have to say, though the women might wear pants, this was a little more immodest than what I usually see for TBN other than the occasional neck line that is too low.

I generally don't read JLG's editorials . . . but this is good stuff.

As Sean Hannity says, the listeners are what keeps him on the air. Likewise, the saints and those who fill the pews - and the offering plates - are what keeps these big-headed slobs in business.

It's the Pastor's fault for scheduling someone that full of himself, and the saints fault for giving offering to the Pastor that allows him to schedule someone like that.

I'm not a TBN fan ,though I ocassionally watch John Ankerberg on Daystar.
I might watch Perry Stone or something out of curiousity.

Something about PS does not set right with me lol. He sounds like a fast talker to me (literally and figuratively)

JA (Hmmmm....No reference to the donkey analogy or the admin from GNC)...what can I say? He's an anti-Oneness person....very much so.

He already had Sabin and we saw how that went. Sabin and Urshan had the least amount of time to speak. Martin has the most. The questions were all Trinitarian proof texts with Oneness always being on the defensive. The show, the final production cut, was heavily edited in favor of the Trinity

One thing I always admire about Bro. Hardwick....as well known as he is in Christian circles, he could demand a lot when he goes to speak somewhere. He is always content with a love offering, and oftentimes I know he has given those back to the church.
