Wouldn't it be much better to hear that so and so "Star" got delivered from sin and filled with the Holy Ghost...not that they were just passing through...???

I DO NOT have a problem with Stars coming to church or being there AT ALL... I do agree with what Felicity stated previously.. it was a good comment..

If the one bragging obtains their status from bragging about what star is in attendance they're getting their status from the wrong star. Our status should be coming from the Bright and Morning Star and He should be in attendance in service.........

I think in a way Randy (since I know you so well ) know where you are coming from-

People have a tenancy to get a little star struck about those who seem to be in the public eye--its like getting close to something special--where as I think you believe we are all the same in God's eyes and just because someone is more visible or more well know doesn't make them any less human--

somewhere along those lines, I may have not chosen the same words as you but I think I know what you mean....have I said that yet!!! lol!
