Proverbs 22:3
[3] A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.
I’d rather be prudent than simple.

There's a difference between potential danger and eminent danger. Go into the "nation of CHAZ" presents potential danger. Going into the literal rioting and burning that was occurring mere days and weeks ago, would be foolish and "simple".

Brother your exactly right.
I wasn’t talking about what a preacher does, i was communicating back to the other brother there about seeing a fight or a hostile situation and fleeing from it. I used this “street preacher” as an example, to why would he go to that area that is completely out of control. I believe what he did, wasn’t wise, just like I believe those of us in the Acts 2:38 truth shouldnt be walking around with firearms on us at all times. The person carrying that gun, is just like that street preacher, your asking for trouble.

Tell that to the street preacher, that potential turned into immediate that quick. I used him as an example. Just like the gentlemen that brought a sword to the crowd, and I dont believe any of them had weapons, yet the one with the weapon is the one recovering.
I guess it always comes back to the spirit. Does the church fight like the world fights? Do we protect like the world protects? That I now believe comes down to a individual relationship with God. Just my opinion....

Police are just asking for trouble, then?
Preachers who preach to the unruly are unwise, and asking for trouble?
I believe in Acts 2:38. So does Jesus. Jesus commanded His disciples to be armed. I guess we're both unwise by your standards.

Brother, you got me. If Jesus said arm yourself while your preaching or traveling, whom am I to argue with him...
