So, the “tongues” in Cornelius’s House in Acts 10:44-47, according to Acts 11:15, are understood comprehendible languages, according to Acts 2:8.

This is a good point JamesGlen.
In fact at the Azusa Street Revival, many believed and proclaimed they actually were now speaking Chinese or other foreign tongues. For most it was soon proven not to be the case.

I never even heard of anyone in modern times that was miraculously fluent in a foreign language. Nevertheless, as I said, I would like to be empowered by God to speak Chinese so that I could witness to my Chinese friends.
