depends on the reason. I am in the same church I was baptized in 13 years ago with no desire to change. That being said, if the message would ever be compromised, I would leave. Thus far, it has not been and I don’t expect it ever will be. I believe it’s more
about whose authority you are under than which local church you associate with. As long as my pastor is alive and preaching the same message, he will be the man of God in my and my family’s life. It also concerns me when preachers are constantly changing elders.

If so, you are placing the pastor in a place he was never meant to occupy.

Of course God can speak to you, but God will verify His word also, "by the month of 2 or 3 witnesses all things will be established." If the man of God is saying something different then, I'd fast and pray and really find out if im right or whats going on. If he's any kind of true man of God he will let you know what is the Spirit of the Lord, and what is just his advice and council also.

When im talking about a Pastor im talking about the genuine article, im talking about part of the real 5 fold ministry. Because you can rest assure God "confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers."I realize some have never even genuinely seen this at work, so just don't know what a blessing that is to have, because they've never experienced it. But I've experienced it very well, and I wouldn't trade it for all the money in the world.

Any place that doesnt have this is not the real deal anyway, and I can see why you would be sceptical. So I realize some people this wouldnt apply to, and in that case that's not part of the Church of the Living God no way. And in that case you need to make a move away from that anyway, that's not Gods church and not God's man in the first place

That sounds like a lot of work sussing out everyone's motivations and submission levels. I don't go to church to play detective and I'm not a mind reader.

Well you don't have to do it, but in that case he wasn't truthfully "your" Pastor anyway, because you didn't want a Pastor.

And once again im not talking about just someone with that title, they are everywhere.
