Use it for a place for people in the Church to stay in dire times. Allow strangers to stay a day or two on their journey?

Again, the whole stranger thing is a bit sketchy for a building, and a church. When you wee a pastor, did you perform a marriage ceremony? Did you ever do that for non church members?

Be wise and receive instruction.
Psalms 68:4
4Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.
God's name is YAH.
The J is said like a Y. The NJKV fixes that.
When you see JAH, YAH, IAH its all the same thing. You say it the same way. Gods name.
When you see a name like Isaiah, Jeremiah, Zecheriah the last 3 letters IAH means YAH the God of the Universe.

Yes I performed for Church members and once for a backslidden Sister. Jesus tells us to take in strangers. You may not take all of them in and you may not keep them long, but if one makes it a habit of NOT taking in strangers:
THEY WILL BE CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.
Matt 25:41-46
41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Should we teach at least that we should be willing to at least take in some strangers?
If we do not Jesus says we are UNRIGHTEOUS AND WORTHY OF HELL.

You can help others by not bringing them into a church building. They have hotels and stuff also. When you help people you can keep personal boundaries.

People do fellowship that go in and out from prayer. Those seem like normal things, who would be against that?

Isnt fellowship between saints a Godly and Biblical thing? What if the Church were to be open just for saints wanting to fellowship? I was in an Apostolic Church where FELLOWSHIP between members was never encouraged.
I was appointed an Elder there and later asked to fellowship with the Pastor. I did go fellowship with him at home one time. I ran into the Deacon the next meeting and he said "I heard you went to Pastors house the other day"." I have heard he has a nice place".
The Deacon had been there for 3 years and had not been to the Pastors house.
One Pastor in our town (Apostolic) mentioned once when we where there he is at the building through the week 9-5. I never heard him say anything about the members being free to use the building for anything while we were there.
It sounds like your Church is at least farther along than many in this regard.

Well yeah I mentioned that several times in the other thread. We have options. To lodge people in the building is one of them.

That's sad, but that sounds like the Apostolic church I came from. They had allot of drama and factions amongst the congregation. Not as bad as thus other Pentecostal church I went to though a couple times, where they use to brawl after church!
But all of its sad.
