I think you missed it on this one. The two views are not contradictory. I did make a joke critical of people who believe trinitarians "believe in another God" and I did say that some old time Pentecostal shenanigans will bring more ridicule and shame than the Borat movie. Those views are not mutually exclusive. They really don't have anything to do with each other.

Just because I don't believe that trinitarians don't believe in "another God" does not mean that I don't believe there are a lot of looney trinitarians. You have heard me criticize the prosperity preachers plenty on AFF and NFCF and other crazies like the crowd that promoted the laughing idiocy a few years back or who believe that gold dust or jewels appear when the presence of God is strong.

Your responses are usually very well thought out and many times right on the money but I think you missed this one. I have been known to do that a time or two!

I think this was as offensive as Borat. Makes a mockery of divine healing, and your post seems to slam TBN in particular with no reference in the video.

I never cared for wrestling on TV as a kid either though.

When those who pretend to be Godly and bring glory to themselves do these things this is what we get from the world....mockery...

I do not believe TBN is genuine by any means... Leadership that is... I do believe the people's faith is genuine in hoping that somehow the hell that is in their lives would be alieviated not by faith but by wealth... being mislead by those who preach a Gospel that is for sale...

Let a true Man of God who is humble... Lives Humble and though used by God stays humble... A man who shuns the glamour gospel for that which he was called.... many in the past and now the present seem to change when money starts coming in... and instead of being a slave of Jesus they become a slave to profit...

I don't know..... this stuff just reeks... imo...
